The LFIM®-USA Li-Ion Fire Incident Mask is an adjustable respiratory and face protective mask for use in lithium-ion battery incidents. The mask is equipped with filters that provide 15 minutes of respiratory protection against the toxic gases released in li-ion fires and is specifically designed to filter out heavy metals and other carcinogens. The construction of the high-impact and heat-resistant face shield helps protect the user's face from heat and high-speed particles that can be released when a lithium-ion battery and cells explode. The LFIM Mask is designed to be used in addition to other personal protection equipment as an effective safety measure for industrial and occupational fire teams to use in the first few minutes of an incident until they can evacuate, allowing professional emergency services personnel to deal with the situation when they arrive on scene.

LFIM is not an SCBA or a protective device against all risks of a lithium-ion incident.

LFIM can be used for:

• Initial entry assessment at the doorway (evaluate conditions before deciding whether to proceed).
• Evacuation support.
• Support for attempt at extinguishment, isolation, or movement of hazard to a safe place if conditions are safe enough to do so.
• Single use only.

WARNING: LFIM Li-Ion Fire Incident Mask is not a substitute for professional firefighting equipment such as SCBA and full protective clothing.
